Finding Districts

NOTE: If this map fails for some reason, please use the older, non-updated version and contact me at webmaster@comaps.com so I can figure out why this problem is occurring. You can also use the mobile version, which has no map but will provide elected official information equivalent to this version.

You can search via your address or by zooming in and clicking on the map in the correct location. Either method will search from that chosen location to find the elected officials and districts at the chosen location. The districts are now all overlays using the same data as the rest of the site, with the correct representatives listed and the colors coded to the color of the representative party. You can disable any of the three layers by clicking on their respective "Show/Hide" links in the District pane.

To search a different address by clicking on the map, you must "Clear Districts" before searching. I still cannot figure that one out apparently. If you get a Potentially Wrong warning in the location box, the address search cannot find you exact address. The point precision will tell you how close the address search was to finding your address. If you get this error, please zoom closer to your home location and use the clicking on the map method to find your representatives.

Disclaimer
If there are any problems with this map, please let webmaster know of the error. As always, due to errors between the data and Google Maps, these maps should not be taken as definitive proof of one's current representatives. If your point lies on a boundary, the district maps and the zip code geocode may be different, leading to the wrong district being chosen for you.
