Colorado Senate Districts

Legend with all districts.
Colorado Senate Map - 2002
To display a district, pick the district from drop down menu, and clicking the Add button will add it to the map. If the map becomes slow, Clear Districts will remove all districts from the map, which will generally restore order. There is also a map linked as a guide showing all of the districts at once. With the Colorado Senate and House, there are too many lines to show them all at once, plus I can't seem to do it in Javascript easily.
The markers are numbered by district to prevent any confusion over which district is which. The outline of the district and the color of the marker indicate the current affiliation of the senator elected to the seat. If you click on the marker, a window will appear that has a link that will take you a page with the senator's district map and information about that district.

2006 Elections
After the 2004 elections, Democrats now control the Senate 18-17. The Senate has alternated between the control of both parties for the past three elections. The two critical races are District 21, now held by Senator Boyd, and District 11, held b y Sen. Ed Jones (R).
