District 1 is the southwest corner of Denver. None of this area was actually Denver when first incorporated in 1858. The Harvey Park neighborhood is primarily suburban, with Harvey Park donated to the city for recreation use by the Harvey family. The Fort Logan National Cemetery and Fort Logan Mental Health Center are south of Harvey Park.
